Dear Friends and Travelers,

As we look toward 2026, our travels are not simply about new destinations. They are about perspective. At Toukan International Travels, we strive to be different. We seek places that are evolving, meaningful, and transformation-driven. Not the expected path, but the intentional one.

This spring break, our family will be traveling together to Saudi Arabia. It is not the average destination. And that is precisely why we are going.

Saudi Arabia. Vision 2030 in Motion

Two people in traditional attire stand in a desert, overlooking a futuristic cityscape. Drones fly and fireworks light the evening sky.
Saudi Arabia Vision 2030

Saudi Arabia is undergoing one of the most ambitious nationwide transformations in modern travel. Vision 2030 is reshaping the Kingdom through large-scale investment in culture, infrastructure, hospitality, and globally relevant engagement. What was once largely closed to tourism is now opening with purpose-driven clarity and forward focused design.

You may have seen in recent news how AlUla has become a focal point of this evolution. AlUla is home to Hegra, Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage site, where Nabataean tombs carved into sandstone cliffs stand as monuments to a civilization more than two thousand years old, and in recent years globally-recognized figures such as Will Smith and Prince William have visited to witness the region’s thoughtful transformation into a heritage-rich, design-forward destination shaped under Vision 2030.

For us, this journey is about full immersion. We want to understand what it feels like on the ground, how heritage-rich tradition and future-focused innovation coexist, and how we can thoughtfully curate culturally layered, access-driven experiences for families and travelers seeking something beyond the expected.

At Toukan International Travels, we do not follow trends. We explore perception-shifting destinations that expand horizons.

Dubai. Scale, Spectacle, and Sophistication

From Saudi Arabia, we continue to Dubai.

Dubai is a city built on ambition. The tallest. The largest. The most architecturally bold. From globally recognized dining to ultra luxury, design forward hospitality, Dubai continues to elevate its standards across every dimension of the travel experience.

For many travelers, Dubai may be a once-in-a-lifetime destination. A place to check the box. To experience skyline-defining architecture, chef-driven cuisine, and precision-executed service. It is a city that delivers spectacle-level energy with meticulously curated detail.

We will be staying at Atlantis The Royal, experiencing firsthand the elevated, high-touch hospitality that continues to define Dubai’s position on the global stage.

Why It Matters

We travel as a family so that we can design with authenticity. We immerse ourselves so that when we recommend a destination, it is grounded in real-world understanding, not headline-driven perception. Being different requires curiosity-driven courage. It requires open-minded exploration. And it requires going where others may hesitate.

The year ahead invites boundary-pushing exploration and meaning-filled journeys.
